Airplane Playlist: Beach Edition

Airplane Playlist: Beach Edition

It’s about that time again!! And by “that time” I mean BEACH TIME. Obviously. It’s the best kind of time. *sigh*

This time next Friday I’ll be on the beach (and probably refusing to leave even though it will be pitch black and probably cold af)! My mermaid heart can hardly stand the excitement.

SO, to get prepared and in beach mode (as if I’m ever not in beach mode, it’s my natural state), I’ve been preparing my ultimate airplane/beach time playlist. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but it’s freaking awesome. Although they’re not all typical “beach songs”, they’re all upbeat and fun. Guaranteed to get you in the mood for quality beach bum time!

I tried to make a good mix between pop, country, and chill songs (for your diverse listening pleasure, of course). You see, I’m a plane sleeper. Like I will probably sleep 85% of the time we’re in the air. So, I have to make sure I add some slower, more relaxing songs for my nap time. If you can’t sleep on a plane, don’t worry! There’s plenty (and I mean plenty) of songs that you can dance in your seat to. And don’t even pretend like you won’t want to, because I know you will. Who can resist seat dancing to Beyoncé? Oh, that’s right, no one! And I’ll be dancing right along with you. Right after I wake up….

Here ya’ll go! My personal (and awesome, don’t forget awesome) beach destination airplane playlist.

I’ll be the first to admit, this is a hefty list. I may have went a little overboard… And hey, maybe they all don’t have to do with the actual beach. BUT I love all of these songs and they always remind me of summer, sunshine, and fun times. I hope some of ya’ll saw some songs you haven’t heard before and check them out! Or maybe you saw some throwback songs that you want to add to your new beach playlist. This is what I’ll be jamming to for the foreseeable future (a.k.a the next week while I not so patiently wait for next weekend to get here).

If any of you lovely people have any song suggestions, leave a comment and let me know! I’m always looking for new music to get my jam on.

With Sass,
